Inteset Launches Its Home Theater Media Server And Extender Systems

Hanover, MA - June 15, 2005 - Inteset, creators of advanced home entertainment systems, unveils its next generation of products. The flagship Denzel TP420-SD home theater server system stores and plays back nearly all digital media content. The VANA VA6420-SD extends that media content to other rooms. The combination of these entertainment convergence systems simplify and replace most A/V components in the home.

The Denzel TP420-SD is a simple-to-use home entertainment convergence system that allows storage and play back of an entire digital media library. Denzel consolidates PVR, picture viewer, CD player, DVD player/burner, SDTV tuner, HDTV tuner, FM tuner, multi-zone, surround sound audio receiver, Internet browser, and 3D gaming system functions into one A/V component. Denzel supports up to two displays and has a two Terabyte internal protected storage capacity with the ability to extend storage using Inteset external TeraRAID storage devices. All functions can be controlled with an included backlit remote or any advanced control system such as Crestron, AMX, or Elan.

The VANA VA6420-SD Home Theater Extender system, allows all content stored on the Denzel server to be easily distributed to any room in the home via an Ethernet or wireless network. Using the same simple interface as Denzel, VANA can play back recorded HDTV, DVD movies, home videos, music, and pictures in any room. Furthermore, Denzel's multi-zone audio function can be control via VANA. The VANA system can also act independently and is equipped with its own DVD/CD player/burner, SDTV tuner and up to 400Gb of internal storage.

Inteset Home Entertainment Systems are based on the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 platform. The Denzel and VANA systems offer many advantages over the competition for the following reasons:

• Massive Reliable Storage - The Denzel system can be purchased with up to 2 Terabytes of internal protected storage (RAID 5 technology); external protected storage can be added at up to 2 Terabyte increments using Inteset's high-speed TeraRAID external storage systems.
• 7.1 Channel Surround Sound - The Denzel sound system processes Dolby EX and DTS-ES technologies and is THX certified. A surround sound receiver or preamp can be bypassed connecting the system directly to an amplifier.
• 3 Audio Zones - Independent audio devices on the Denzel can distribute audio to a 2nd and 3rd zone providing music to a whole home or other speaker system.

• Stable, Reliable, and High-Performance

• Exclusive Inteset Software Modules - Inteset develops exclusive
modules and services for its systems. Some modules include: My Movies
(with free Inteset movie profile import service); multi-zone audio
control; advanced control device communication service; VANA Extender
connectivity service; and more.

• Crestron, AMX, Elan Advanced Control - Control of the Inteset
Multi-zone Audio and Windows Media Center functions using advanced
control systems.

• Powerful Media Extender - Using an Inteset VANA VA6420-SD Home
Theater Extender system, all content stored on the Denzel server can be
distributed to any

room in the home with plug-and-play ease.

• Upgradeable - Hardware and software upgrade packages will be
available. Inteset is continuously developing exciting new modules as
well as improving

existing products.

• CEDIA Appeal - Inteset systems appeal to CEDIA dealers and
integrators due to system ease-of-use, reliability, unique modules,
price point, and interoperability with advanced control systems.

The Denzel TP420-SD and VANA VA64420-SD systems are sold through Inteset's nationwide dealer network. The list price for the Denzel TP420-SD is $5,995. The list price for the VANA VA420-SD is $2,395.

Sharp Introduces the World’s Largest*2 LCD Model

Sharp Corporation announces the introduction into the Japanese market of the LC-65GE1 AQUOS 65V-Inch*1 Digital High-Definition LCD TV, the world’s largest*2 LCD model.

The LC-65GE1 features a full-spec high-definition LCD panel with resolution of 1,920 H x 1,080 V pixels that can precisely display digital content in Hi-Vision (high definition) format (1080i) exactly as broadcast, enabling users to enjoy beautiful, life-like, high-definition images on an impressively large screen that far surpasses other video systems, regardless of the brightness of the room. In addition to outstanding features deriving from its high-resolution, low-reflection Advanced Super View LCD panel, the LC-65GE1 also reproduces high-speed full-motion video such as sports programs with bright, clear, easy-to-view images thanks to Sharp’s QS (Quick Shoot) Technology that improves moving video responsiveness.

Sharp has also developed a new Four-Wavelength Backlight that adds the wavelengths of “crimson” to blue, green and red for faithful reproduction of pure red colors. In addition, Sharp’s High-Aperture Speaker System and highly rated 1-Bit Digital Amplifier deliver clear, natural, high-resolution sound.

The LC-65GE1 is designed with full attention to environmental considerations: power consumption is only 619 W, which is less than PDP televisions of the same 65V-inch class, and it uses materials well suited to recycling. Also, the ability to mount the LC-65GE1 on a wall even with its large screen size allows user to fully enjoy the LCD TV experience in a diverse range of living spaces.

This new AQUOS model has opened still more new doors for television in screen size, picture quality, color reproduction, environmental performance and design.

Sharp will continue to respond to the diverse needs of customers in the future by offering an extensive line-up of 38 AQUOS LCD TV models, with this current announcement, ranging in screen size from 13V- to 65V-inches*1.
