D-Tools Enhances Their Training Programs
Concord, CA, September 1, 2005 — Based on their continuing
commitment to provide quality training for their clients, D-Tools
announced today that they have expanded the training program for their
System Integrator (SI) software with a robust training schedule of
learning opportunities and an enhanced training curriculum to the
D-Tools community of users.
“D-Tools is committed to evolving with the ever-changing needs of the SI industry and will be offering a variety of options to accommodate each individual user,” said Adam Stone, company President. “We will continue to offer regional training throughout the year. In addition we are introducing D-Tools University and the Getting Started Web Series online training program.”
D-Tools Getting Started Web Series consists of eight, 90-minute personalized sessions, using the latest desktop sharing technology taught at the client’s convenience and in the comfort of their own office. Desktop sharing allows the client to see the trainer’s computer screen and share their own, enabling a collaborative training session between the D-Tools trainer and the client. An added plus is that one person or many people within the company can participate in the training sessions. Each of the eight different sessions focuses on an essential area of System Integrator software and include topics such as setup and configuration, using the main navigator area, data management, designing with Visio and AutoCAD, managing the business process, using the accounting interface and project management. The Getting Started Web Series was created to complement the D-Tools Regional Training and D-Tools University.
In response to users who want a deeper understanding of D-Tools’ System Integrator software, the company created D-Tools University. D-Tools University offers a curriculum targeted for different job functions and offers courses for intermediate and advanced users. The University was designed to allow users to choose specific course tracks and focus on core functionalities in System Integrator software. The three-day University, which will be held annually in the Fall in the San Francisco Bay Area, will offer courses taught by D-Tools Certified Partners and industry professionals. Attendees will also have numerous networking opportunities and access to a lab staffed by experts on the software.
“D-Tools System Integration software is currently used by over 2,000 companies,” says Stone. “We will continue to evaluate our training efforts to make sure we offer each one of them opportunities to get the most out of our product.”
