Vantage Controls Makes Complex Lighting Control Simple and Integration Easy

OREM, Utah, March 29, 2006 — Vantage Controls is proud to unveil the InFusion family, which includes the most powerful and comprehensive controller and software introduced to the market, as well as the TouchPoint 1210 a new, user-friendly tablet touch screen.


The InFusion family is unlike any other solution on the market today, combining lighting control and automation, rolling it all into one simple solution. Vantage will display the new InFusion line-up at the EHX Spring Expo held in Orlando, Florida on March 28 at the Orange County Convention Center.

“The InFusion family makes lighting control and integration of audio video products much easier and quicker for the dealer,” said Richard Brady, Vantage Executive Vice President. “We have always found new ways to improve lighting control, and now with the new controller we’re simplifying the entire automation experience.”


The controller boasts a dramatically faster processor, 80 times more memory, a built-in Ethernet jack and a USB port. It more than double’s the capacity of Vantage’s Q Controller, allowing for more than 100 available stations.


InFusion Design Center, the software that accompanies the InFusion Controller, has been designed around the dealers’ needs. It includes third party device libraries with easy drag-and-drop menus, making integration of audio video solutions so much easier. InFusion Design Center has savable and reusable customized programming and it makes complex automation scenarios simple, cutting installation time significantly.


“InFusion Design Center is the piece to the puzzle that makes lighting and integration easier for our dealers,” said John McDaniel, Vantage engineer and team leader of InFusion. “With its simple programming format, dealers will now be able to do jobs that much quicker and still incorporate well-designed lighting control as well as give customers complete integration of third party devices.”


The TouchPoint 1210 is a customizable tablet touch screen that provides ultimate control with the power of wireless communication. Anyone who uses the TouchPoint 1210 will enjoy complete room-to-room control of lights, security systems, music and more.
