Our customization process begins on the phone with your Bay Audio dealer.
Together we design a system to meet your unique requirements.
Aesthetic decisions are balanced against performance goals, and the result
is a series of CAD drawings produced by our engineering staff. These
drawings are presented to your Bay Audio dealer for coordination with your
architect or interior designer. They can incorporate these drawings into
their plans, ensuring seamless integration with your finished carpentry.
Upon approval, we forward the plans to our cabinet shop, where each cabinet
is hand built and finished to our exacting requirements.
Were known for the quality and beauty of our furniture-grade cabinetry,
using only architectural-grade veneers and hand-finishing each piece with
multiple coats of stain, lacquer, or paint, as the situation requires.
As your cabinet is being built, our engineering department fine-tunes your
crossover networks and pretests all components to ±1dB, tolerance levels far
tighter than the industry norm.
And when all system parts are ready, we load the driver elements and
crossover networks in our assembly facility. Each unit is sonically tested,
cleaned, and crated for delivery. The entire process from conceptual
design to delivery, requires six weeks.
We can design your dedicated theater system for in-room placement where
the beauty of our cabinetry stands out or for complete invisibility, where
nothing is seen in the room.
